Nesteren Demirdag a ceramics artist is who hand builds clay sculptural works. Nesteren's work is both emotional and intellectual; figurative and literal. Recently, she has been fascinated with the biological nature of human body parts. Her latest works are uncanny depictions of the heart, the teeth, the leg, and various bones that we have working inside us. Her work takes us both outside and inside ourselves by forcing us to confront the sublime nature of the human animal.
